Robin Williams and his films have a distinct, and special, place in my memories of childhood. Patch Adams influenced me to do good, and taught me that sometimes you got to take a different approach to things to make the world better.

He even was in animation, being the voice actor for Genie in Aladdin - bringing dynamic dialogue that was a element in making the Disney film such a classic.
It’s unfortunate that he struggled with addiction and depression. All of us struggle with the dark inside of us. And not all of us make it.
But with the time you spent on this earth, your humor and your energy reached out to many. Thanks Mr. Williams for all that you have brought to the screen that reached so many.
